About us
Our story began in 2005
Founded by Moon Ga-Young as a small bakery in 2005 at Carpenter street, one of the oldest streets in Kuching. The bakery was taken over by her son, Joel Moon in 2009 and began to expand rapidly in the past five years. In June 2019, the company opened its 4th store in Saradise, Kuching.

The company’s best-selling product in 2019 is green tea mooncakes, which are healthy and modern twist on a traditional Chinese dessert. The company is also well-known for their freshly baked breads and exquisite pastries, cookies and cakes.
About us
With more than 15 years of experience, Bright Moon Bakeries make desserts and baked goods that will brighten up your day. We were the first to create the green tea mooncake using special green tea leaves sourced from Japan. We also have a wide selection of healthy but delicious products such as rosemary focaccia bread and almond butter pie.
Our company has secured the SQF (Safe Quality Food standard) certification from SGS (General Society of Surveillance) Malaysia to assure our customers that our products are produced, processed, prepared and handled according to the highest standard.
